Daniel Alexanyan BA, MA, LMT, CMT, CSI, CAOSIB

A Russian Armenian Jew born and raised in the Bay Area, CA, with a BA in Philosophy and Astronomy (2002) and an MA in Philosophy and Religion (2012). Became a Connective Tissue Bodyworker in 2012 after completing the 700 hour massage therapy program at the Pacific Center for Awareness and Bodywork on Kauai. In 2013, completed the PCAB Teacher Training Program with 670 additional hours (the most ever awarded). Certified in 2015 in Awareness Oriented Structural Integration Bodywork and was a first - year instructor of SI at PCAB in 2016. Training in Sports Lomi Lomi and CranioSacral therapies in addition to the reflexology, polarity, Swedish, Connective Tissue Massage and Therapy (Myofascial Therapies), Neuromuscular Triggerpoint and Structural Integration modalities covered by the PCAB program.

Holds Hawaii State Massage Therapy License # MAT 13305 and California Massage Therapist Council Certification # 49444.

Traveled extensively throughout northern Africa, southern Europe, the Middle East, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Thailand and South America. Travels included three weeks volunteering with Pisco Sin Fronteras in Peru, helping rebuild after the devastation of the 2007 earthquake, and four 10-day Vipassana meditation retreats – two in India, one in Thailand and one in Peru.


Interests include dancing, billiards, chess, tennis, yoga, reading, writing, movies, cooking and meditation.
